Our programme embraces the areas of religious and secular choir music, solo singing, and organ music from the
16th century to contemporary times. Besides our own editions, we also supply editions by other publishing
companies, for example (exclusively to German-speaking countries) the organ editions of the French publishers
"Éditions Publimuses". In January 2002 we took over the organ editions of the Belgian publisher
Éditions Chantraine which consists mainly of transcribed organ improvisations from the legendary Titulaire
of Notre-Dame in Paris, Pierre Cochereau. From the year 2005 on we extended our programme with several books.
Our work is consistently devoted to the motto of "working close to real life". This has been one pillar of our success right from the beginning: in our editions, choir directors and organists will find high-quality and versatile literature for church service, concert, and music lessons.
In the area of choir music, with our editions, when accompanied by an orchestra, you will often have the choice of performing solely on the organ. This will give you the chance of performing also when there is no orchestra available or when the financial resources are not there to employ one.
In cooperation with renowned editors our publishing company has dedicated itself to the publication of works of organ romanticism since the 1980s. This dedication has no doubt helped with a renaissance in this area.
The new management will stay true to the tradition and the original task of the company, namely to being a responsible partner to choirs, choir directors, and organists when searching for close-to-life, high-quality, yet inexpensive editions.
